Sourdough is more than bread, it’s a way of life.

Once you fall for sourdough, there’s no way back.
It’s a passion.
It’s therapy.
It’s meditation.
And yes, it’s delicious.

 

Mama Baker began as a home experiment and quickly turned into a full-blown love story with wild yeast and warm crusts. What started in a home kitchen became a small, soulful bakery, sharing real bread with real people.

 

We bake slowly, naturally, and with care - the old-fashioned way. No shortcuts, no additives, just honest ingredients and lots of love.

 

At Mama Baker, every loaf has a story. Every bagel has a little extra chew. And every cookie brings a hug in every bite.

 

This is more than a bakery. It’s home.

Mama Baker is based in the Dekel neighborhood of Efrat, where all the baking magic happens from my home kitchen.

 

I currently bake to order, with customers picking up their fresh sourdough creations directly from my location.

 

You can also find me at Efrat’s local farmers market on Thursdays, or at one of my occasional Friday street sales in the neighborhood.

 

My regular bake days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 

so there’s always something fresh and delicious coming out of the oven.

 

All products are kosher parve, made in a Jewish home kitchen, currently without formal certification.
